Linda MacDonald

Medicine Spirit
Linda MacDonald, Powell, Wyoming
This is one of a series inspired by the Medicine Lodge Creek archaeological site in Wyoming. I studied this ancient site many years ago as part of my Master’s thesis.
Manufacturer’s discarded fabric, netting received from Salvaged Threads, pieces of old & new yarn, thread, beads, stones, and acrylic paint.
$200

Aurora Borealis
Linda MacDonald, Powell, Wyoming
Inspired by the flashing northern lights (Aurora Borealis) seen in the sky when we lived in Alaska, and more rarely in Wyoming.
Materials Explanation: This piece is made from a discarded upholstery sample, combined with small scraps from Shakespearean costumes, hand-dyed silk ribbon, and beads.
$200
