Joe Working (In An Election Year ) #2 $200
Joe Working (In An Election Year) # 2 and # 3 Virginia A. Spiegel, Byron, Illinois
The irony of a blue collar worker's son wearing out his "work" shirts through using a computer mouse drove the creation of this artwork. The ”mending” of the holes and the red, white, and blue palette speak to the delicate peace maintained in our household despite two very different political views.
Worn blue cotton shirt with buttons and labels. Torn, collaged, sewn, mended, hand-embroidered.
